Yes. As soon as you receive the invitations they are ready to be mailed.

How much is shipping and handling?

Sample and Swatches are shipped by USPS flat rate. All invitation orders are shipped by FedEx for a flat rate of $8.99 for small orders, $19.99 for large orders and $26.99 for X-Large orders. Shipping rates will be determined at the time your order is placed. Delivery time usually 2 to 7 business days, depending on the destination. All place card, program, table number, menus, etc.. orders are shipped by USPS priority for a flat rate of $9.99 for small orders, $21.99 for large orders and $29.99 for X-Large orders. Shipping rates will be determined at the time your order is placed. Delivery time usually 2 to 3 business days, depending on the destination. If you place an order for personalized candy the shipping rate is determined at the time you place your order. If you would like your order expedited/overnight please contact us for the shipping rate.

How long does it take before my order is shipped?

The Production/Estimated Shipping date will be given to you at the time you place your order. Depending on the size of your order and our production schedule, it may take between 1 to 10 weeks.

What is your return/claim policy?

There are no returns on special orders. All claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please contact Alaun By Design for any other returns.

What if my order were damaged during shipping?

Please contact the shipping carrier (FedEx or USPS) immediately regarding your shipment.

Do you charge tax?

Nebraska residents are subject to a 7% sales tax.

What if I need my order right away (rush order)?

Rush orders are not guaranteed although they are usually processed and shipped within 1 to 4 weeks. There is a fee for all rush orders. The fee is based on the quantity ordered.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept personal checks, money orders, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. If paying by personal check, production will not begin until funds have cleared. This usually takes 5 to 10 business days.

Can I order a sample?

We recommend you order samples. All samples are customized to your choice of cardstocks, ribbons, fonts, ink colors, etc... Samples are $10.00 each. For all Custom Designs (designs that are not in our production lines) and Pocketfolds there is a $20.00 design fee plus $10.00 for each sample.

Do you charge a delivery fee? (Local customers only)

If you would like us to deliver your order there is a delivery fee of $10.00 and a maximum of 30 miles from our studio.

Do you offer addressing of envelopes?

Yes. There is a fee of $0.35 per envelope. The address is machine printed. There is a setup fee of $20.00 for guest address printing (not return address printing).

Will you do the mailing of my envelopes?

Yes. We charge you the cost of postage plus $5.00 per every 100 envelopes ($0.05 each envelope).

I have my own paper. Would you do the printing for me?

Yes, there is a design fee of $20.00 plus a $0.30 fee for each print. (Example if you have an 8 1/2 x 11 paper the cost for 1 side is $0.30 each, for both sides is $0.60 each).  The price could change based on the paper that will be provided.  This is a no fault service (please call us for a full definition of this).

Do you send swatches of the cardstock and ribbons you carry?

Yes, we do and they are $2.00 per request.  We carry thousands of cardstocks, ribbons, embellishments, etc....  We are unable to display them all on our website.  Contact us with your colors and we would be more than happy to send you swatches.

Do you have clip art or images I can add to my invitation and enclosures?

Yes, we carry over 10K images that can be added to your invitations and enclosures. If you give us an idea of what kind of image you are looking for we can help you. There is a printed fee to add an image to your invitation and enclosures.

I have my own monogram can I add it to my invitation and/or enclosures?

Yes, of course.  Your monogram will need to be saved in a format of jpeg, png or bmp.

Do you put little Alaun By Design logo stickers or any company logo on the back of the invitations?

No, we do not put our logo or logo stickers on any of our products.

Do square invitations cost more to mail?

Yes, we recommend taking your invitation to the post office to have it weighed and sized for postage rates.

Where do you print my return address on the envelopes?

The return address for the invitation envelopes are printed on the back flap.
The return address for the thank you, save the date and bridal shower invitations are printed on the front left corner of the envelope.
The return address for the reply envelope is printed center front of the reply envelope

What ink color and font is used to print my return address on the envelopes?

The text font style used on your invitation is the standard font style that will be used on your envelopes. The text ink color used on your invitation is the standard ink color that will be used on your envelopes.

It is a 65lb cover weight.
